It is Beauty and the Beast coming to reality. A woman was spotted walking a polar bear in the streets of Shibuya, Tokyo on Thursday night, causing a stir online.
While the intrigued onlookers wondered whether the polar bear was real or just a human being in a costume, some people recognized the “LALSH” letters on the woman’s T-shirt. The name turns out to belong to an unspecified group from Russia, and the mysterious group has promised on its Facebook page that “everything” will be revealed at Shinjuku on October 24th.
Whether the bear is real or not, it has the name of “Hachiko”, which is perhaps the reason why its owners decided to hit Japan first.
