Chinese media has circulated the latest in a daily release of 45 confessions by Japanese war criminals from the Second World War. Number 18 on the list is Rokuzo Takebe, who was once the chief of general affairs in charge of occupied Northeast China, an area known as Manchuria. He admitted initiating a string of unjust policies against Chinese people, and vast industrial projects to loot local resources.
